Power: Docker’s Jank

*Mechanics: To get the prestige bonus in Flint, Calliope has to have name recognition in Flint.

Her name recognition comes from the Calliopelooza musical festival, held every year at the Navras Opera House. Bards, musicians, artists come from as far away as The Cloudwood. Proceeds go to help the Flint Home for Wayward and Orphaned Children. The first year, it was just her-she used the name in hopes of building up hype. It worked. After 5 years, it has grown and expanded from music to painting, dancers, magicians… all manner of artists. Think Raleigh’s Artsplosure, but with a Renaissance Fair vibe.

Calliope sings and writes historical based romance & adventure ballads. Her most popular are:
- I can see clearly now the Reign is gone
- Tender is the Knight

*Mechanics: Cover story for RHC travel assignments. “I’m in Vendricce to research the area for my next ballad, not an RHC operative trying to infiltrate the top secret meeting of the High Court”, that sort of thing.

World Traveler
Calliope is a tourist, exploring and experiencing new cultures.

*Mechanics: With her Bard Signs of Influence options of:
- Welcome Guest
- Travel in Style
She is able to go to a lot of places with minimum expense or danger. Calliope sticks to touristy or well populated spots. You won’t catch her exploring an abandoned mine or desolate castle. She tries to stick to regions that speak Common.

Calliope is a passionate polyglot. Her recent training includes interpreting conversations and translating texts. She loves language and is fluent in:

Common, Primordial (1)
Draconic (2)
Elvish, Dwarven, Giant (3)

(1) Zeitgeist standard starting languages
